Chelsea FC - Stamford Bridge

Stamford Bridge, also known as The Bridge, is a football stadium in London. It has a capacity of 42 000 and it opened in 1877. It is the home of Chelsea FC, one of the most famous sports clubs in the world. In 1935, a record attendance for Chelsea FC at Stamford Bridge was set, when 82 000 people showed up to watch the game against their rivals Arsenal FC. Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich took over Chelsea FC in 2003, when he was already known as one of the richest persons in the world. Two years later, Chelsea FC won the Premier League for the second time in their history. In 2008, they lost the final of the prestigious UEFA Champions League from Manchester United FC after penalties.
