Portsmouth FC - Fratton Park

Fratton Park is a football stadium in Portsmouth. It opened in 1898 and it has a capacity of 20 000. The first match was between tenants Portsmouth FC and their rivals Southampton FC. The record attendance of 51 000 people was set in 1949, when standing places were still allowed in England. Portsmouth FC, nicknamed Pompey, are the most popular sports club in the port city.
